Chef Yasmine was born and raised n San Diego, California. As a first generation American she was gifted with the traditions and culture of her parents who were from Lebanon. The Mediterranean culture that was so rich with family, food and friends always centered in the kitchen and so from an early age she was exposed to the tastes, smells and flavors of her family. After living abroad for 10 years her knowledge grew and included not only cuisine but entertaining at an international level.
After graduating from San Diego Culinary Institute she was able to take the classic techniques used around the world and apply them with a contemporary approach. Lux Catering embodies her knowledge of cuisine and her experience gained from creating beautiful and elegant events in all settings.
